UK powered access rental company Star Platforms has been shortlisted for the prestigious awards following a judging process carried out by the IAPAs independent panel of five longstanding industry professionals.
With a focus on innovation and success, Star Platforms has continued to grow since they were formed in 2014 and have continued to focus on product investment and meeting customer demand. With entries from all over the globe, Star Platforms are one of just five shortlisted nominees.
Having achieved IPAF Rental+ GOLD last year, Star Platforms was able to add to its already impressive list of accreditations and memberships. There is also a robust Environmental Management System (EMS) in place to ensure the company continues to focus on reducing their carbon footprint, which includes a fleet of 89% environmentally friendly platforms. The company’s delivery and service fleet all have Euro 6 engines and software in place to reduce idle time and improve route efficiency.
Star Platforms has a focus on listening to customers and fulfilling demand and have increased their fleet to over 1,930 machines, as well as providing additional extras and packages to suit their customer’s needs.
Richard Miller, Managing Director, Star Platforms, commented: “We are proud to be shortlisted once again at this year’s IAPAs, which is a testament to how hard the team has worked over the last few years where we’ve seen unprecedented company growth. We continue to support our customers and staff, investing where required, providing the support, advice and service our customers expect.”
