UK Tool Hire Group Ltd is proud to celebrate a major milestone as Michelle Long, Managing Director, marks 10 years with the company.
Michelle joined UK Tool Hire Group in 2015 as a Business Development Manager. From day one her drive, passion, and commitment were clear. She quickly made an impact by launching the company’s Vehicle Division, based in Bilborough, Nottingham, an ambitious venture that began with just six trucks and vans. Today, that division has become a vital part of the business, operating over 150 vehicles nationwide and managing a fleet of 25 specialist spider lifts that serve customers across the UK.
Following the success of the Vehicle Division, Michelle was promoted to Head of Powered Access, where she continued to contribute to the company’s growth and diversification.
In 2021, her outstanding leadership and deep industry knowledge were formally recognised when company owner John Wilkinson appointed her as Managing Director.
Reflecting on her journey, Michelle said:
“It’s been an incredible 10 years. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come, not just in expanding our services, but in building a team and culture that really cares about our customers. I’m excited for what’s next for UK Tool Hire Group and proud to be part of its future.”
